Gary and Darlene Kernan are the owners of Alaska Halibut Fishing Charter. We have been fishing the Kenai Peninsula waters for over 28 years. All of our guides including myself are U.S. Coast Guard licensed Captains and fishing enthusiasts.
Whether you are fishing for monster halibut, trophy trout or king size salmon, we know when, where and how to make your fishing trip a huge success. We are very proud of the fact that a large portion of our clientele fish with us year after year. Whether you are fishing saltwater or freshwater, the vessels you will be aboard are equipped with the latest in marine technology, and a full complement of top quality fishing gear. Saltwater boats have enclosed heated cabins with inside seating and a private marine head (bathroom), these boats are highly maintained and made to make you feel comfortable. All of the riverboats are built to seat 4 clients with comfort and there are bathrooms all up and down the rivers edge, so we invite you along to enjoy a trip of a lifetime and to fill your freezers with some of the best eating fish around.
